Sitemap.xml GeneratorNEW
Build a standard sitemap.xml from a list of URLs, then copy or download it
Checking your access…
The AllFreeTool sitemap.xml generator builds a standard site map for your website online and free: paste a list of URLs and it produces a valid urlset XML file, with a default priority and change frequency you can set, plus per-URL lastmod values, ready to copy or download and upload to your site root.
Submit a site map for a new launch, refresh the last-modified dates of pages that actually changed, or give your important pages a higher priority, all in a few clicks. The file is generated locally in your browser, the URLs are never uploaded, and the output follows the sitemaps.org specification. Free, with no registration.

Common questions
Where should sitemap.xml be placed?+
Upload it to the root directory of your site, on the same level as index.html, where it is reachable at yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml. Files placed in a subdirectory are usually not found by crawlers.
Do priority and changefreq really matter?+
Most search engines treat those two fields as a hint rather than a ranking factor. Keeping them consistent across the site, or distinguishing only the pages that matter, is enough. The important thing is that every URL is real and reachable, and that lastmod only changes when the content genuinely changed.
How many URLs can one sitemap hold?+
The official guidance is up to 50,000 URLs per file and 50 MB uncompressed. Larger sites should split the entries into several files and reference them from a sitemap index file.
What do I do after generating it?+
Upload sitemap.xml to your site root, add a Sitemap: yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml line to robots.txt, and then submit the address in the webmaster tools of the search engines you care about.
