Combine several images into an animated GIF with your own size, fps and loop
Checking your access…
AllFreeTool's Image to GIF maker turns a set of pictures into one animated GIF in your browser, free and with no installation or account. Drop the images in the order you want them to play, then adjust how long each frame stays on screen, the canvas size, the fit for pictures that do not match the first frame's aspect ratio, the loop count and the color count. Small extras matter too: a background color fills letterboxed edges, dithering smooths gradients, and frame diffing keeps the output small.
The pictures are decoded and encoded on your own machine and are never uploaded, so family photos, unreleased product shots or internal diagrams can go straight in. Typical uses: a slideshow for a listing page, a sequence of screenshots in a support article, or a meme for a group chat. Everything keeps working once the page has loaded, the thumbnail strip lets you fix the order before building, and you can rebuild with different settings without selecting the files again.

Common questions
Is this Image to GIF tool really free?+
Yes. Building and downloading animated GIFs costs nothing, needs no account and adds no watermark. There is no daily export cap; the practical limits are your device's memory and the time it takes to encode large frames.
Why does the animation play faster or slower than expected?+
Timing comes from each frame's duration, not from file length. Many viewers clamp very short delays: anything under 0.02 seconds is usually treated as 0.1 seconds, so an animation meant to run at 50 fps will look slower. Keep frame duration at 0.05 seconds or above, and check the total duration shown under the settings before building.
Why are there stripes or bands in gradients?+
A GIF frame holds at most 256 colors, so smooth gradients get quantized. Raising the color count and switching dither on spreads the error into a fine pattern that looks smoother at the cost of a slightly larger file. Flat artwork usually looks better with dither off and fewer colors.
Should I use contain or cover?+
Contain fits the whole picture inside the canvas and fills the leftover area with your background color; cover fills the canvas edge to edge and crops the overflow. Use contain for screenshots and diagrams where nothing may be lost, and cover for photos where a tight frame looks better.
