GIF Frame ReorderNEW

Drag thumbnails to change frame order and preview the new animation live

Completely free

Checking your access…

AllFreeTool's GIF Frame Reorder tool lets you rearrange the frames of an animation by dragging thumbnails, delete the ones you do not need, and preview the new loop before exporting. It is free, with no installation and no account: load a GIF, drag a thumbnail onto another slot, and the playback order updates instantly. A reverse button and a restore button cover the two edits people ask for most, and the preview follows every change.

Reordering happens locally, so the file is never uploaded and nothing is stored. It is the fastest fix for a loop that starts on the wrong frame, a sequence that should run in a different order, a stray duplicate frame that makes the animation stutter, or a cover frame that should lead for thumbnails. Every frame keeps its own delay, and the build result tells you whether the output was lossless.

Why use GIF Frame Reorder on AllFreeTool?

↕️

Drag And Drop Order

Drag thumbnails onto new slots, remove frames with one click, reverse the sequence or restore the original order.

🧩

Lossless When Possible

If frames do not overlap, the original compressed blocks are moved rather than re-encoded, so colors and size survive.

🔒

Reordered In The Tab

Parsing and rebuilding stay on your device, so the animation is never uploaded.

⚡

Always Free To Use

No account, no fee, no watermark, and no limit on how many times you rebuild the same animation.

Common questions

Do I need an account to reorder GIF frames?+

No. The tool is free, opens without signing up and adds no watermark. You can rebuild the same animation as many times as you need while testing an order.

Why did the file get larger after reordering?+

The lossless path only works when frames do not depend on each other. If transparency, disposal or overlapping rectangles force a rebuild, every frame is recomposited and compressed again, which usually grows the file. The build result tells you which method was used.

Are frame delays and the loop count kept?+

Yes. Each frame carries its own delay through the reorder, and the loop setting is copied to the rebuilt animation. Deleting a frame simply shortens the total duration by that frame's delay.

Why does the preview jump when I delete a frame?+

The preview plays the new sequence as soon as the order changes, so removing a frame shortens the loop and the thumbnails shift left. That is expected; reopen the original from the drop area if you want to start over.
