Watermark GIFNEW
Add image or text watermarks to GIFs in bulk, with opacity and placement

AllFreeTool's GIF Watermark tool stamps a logo or a text graphic onto an animation, either once in a corner or repeated as a tile across the frame. It is free and needs no install or signup: upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, then set its width as a share of the frame, the opacity, one of nine positions and a margin. The tiled mode scatters the mark across the whole picture, so it cannot simply be cropped away.
The stamp is applied locally, so the animated file is never uploaded and no copy is kept. It fits the everyday jobs: put an artist credit on a looping illustration, brand a product demo before it goes to a client, or cover a review copy with a repeating proof mark. A transparent PNG gives the cleanest edge, and the preview updates as soon as the size, opacity or position changes.
Why use Watermark GIF on AllFreeTool?
Single Or Tiled
Place one mark on a nine-way grid, or repeat it across the frame so the watermark cannot be cropped away.
Size, Opacity, Margin
Width is a share of the frame, so the same watermark scales consistently on small and large animations.
Watermarked Offline
Composition and re-encoding run in the browser, so confidential previews never leave your machine.
Free, No Trial Limits
No account, no export cap and no watermark of our own added on top of yours.

Common questions
Does the watermark tool cost anything?+
No. It is free, needs no account and adds no branding of its own. You can watermark the same animation repeatedly while tuning opacity and placement.
Why does my transparent PNG show a box or a halo?+
GIF supports one fully transparent color and no partial alpha, so the soft antialiased edge of a logo becomes opaque and picks up the nearest palette color. Use a hard-edged mark, or match the watermark's background to the animation so the edge is invisible.
Why does the watermark look blurry?+
The mark is scaled to a percentage of the frame width. If the source image is smaller than the target size it gets upscaled, and palette reduction softens it further. Upload a larger transparent PNG, keep the width modest, and place the mark over an area with similar colors.
Can the watermark be removed later?+
No. The pixels are baked into every frame, so keep the original file and apply the mark to a copy. If the placement is wrong, rebuild from the original with new settings instead of editing the output.
