Video ReverseNEW
Play a video backwards in your browser, audio included
Checking your access…
AllFreeTool is a free online video reverser that plays a clip backwards, with the audio reversed as well when you want it. You upload a video, choose whether to reverse the picture, the sound or both, pick an output quality, and the tool processes the file locally with a browser-based video engine. The video is never uploaded to a server.
It suits turning a clip into a satisfying reverse shot, checking an action in slow-motion detail, or producing a short reversed clip for a video of your own. The processing engine loads on demand, so the first run takes a little longer while it prepares, and a long file takes a while to encode on your own hardware.
Why use Video Reverse on AllFreeTool?

Reverse the picture, the sound, or both, with the result played back in the correct order.
Quality Choice
Select high, medium or low output quality to balance file size against detail.
Local Processing
The video is decoded and re-encoded in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Common questions
Does the sound get reversed too?+
It depends on what you choose. The video and audio option reverses both together, which is what most people want for the classic reversed-clip effect. You can also reverse only the picture and keep the sound forwards, or reverse only the audio if that is what your project needs.
How long does the processing take?+
The work runs on your own processor, so a longer or higher resolution clip takes noticeably longer than a short one. The first run also includes loading the video engine, and keeping the page open while it works is important. A file of a few hundred megabytes is a reasonable upper limit.
What happens if the fast filter is not available?+
The tool tries the efficient reversal filter first and checks that the output was produced correctly. If the current engine build cannot do it, it falls back to extracting the frames one by one, reversing their order in memory and re-encoding the result, which is slower but gives the same output.
Is the video uploaded to a server?+
No. The clip is decoded, reversed and re-encoded entirely inside your browser with no network request for the media itself. Your video stays on your own machine, and only the finished file you download exists elsewhere.
