AI Content DetectorNEW
Check text, images and videos for AI generation, with per-segment scores and evidence
Checking your access…
Check whether a text, an image or a video was generated by AI with this AI content detector. Text is split into segments and every segment gets its own AI likelihood score, its share of the document, its character count and a suspicion level together with the reasoning behind it; images get an AI likelihood, an overall verdict and the likely source model; videos are sampled into key frames locally in your browser and judged frame by frame.
The tool combines local statistical features with a cloud multimodal model: connector density, boilerplate density and sentence-length uniformity are computed in your browser, then the cloud model reviews the segments and both results are blended. For images the file header is also read for content credentials and generator tags, which count as hard evidence. If the cloud model is temporarily unavailable the tool degrades to the local result, says so, and still returns an answer.
Why use AI Content Detector on AllFreeTool?
Per-Segment Scoring
Text is split into segments and each one is labelled AI, suspected AI or human.
Image Provenance
Content credentials and generator tags in the metadata are read as hard evidence.
Video Sampling
Six key frames are extracted locally and judged in one pass, listed frame by frame.
Report Sheet
Turn the result into a printable report sheet and save it as PDF.
How to use AI Content Detector
Pick a Mode
Switch between text, image and video detection at the top of the tool.
Submit the Content
Paste text (Ctrl+Enter to submit) or upload .txt / .docx, an image, or a video file.
Read the Result
Check the AI likelihood, the suspicion levels and the evidence, then export the report.
Common questions
How accurate is the result?+
AI content detection is probabilistic; no tool gives a 100% answer. This one blends local statistical features with a cloud model review and always shows the reasoning next to each verdict, so you can judge the evidence yourself instead of trusting a single number.
Is my content uploaded?+
Text splitting and statistics, image pixel analysis and video frame extraction all run in your own browser. Only the analysed text segments, the image you submit and the key-frame montage are sent to the cloud model configured by the site, and nothing is stored afterwards.
Why does the result say it was degraded?+
It means the cloud model call failed or timed out, so the score comes only from local statistical features and is less reliable than usual. Retry in a moment, or test with a more representative sample of text.
How much text do I need?+
Detection starts at 50 characters, but segment-level verdicts are more meaningful above 350 characters: on very short texts the model cannot separate an AI tone from a simply short text, and the score fluctuates a lot.
Why are some images misjudged?+
Heavy beauty filters, HDR and AI retouching all change texture and edge statistics. The reverse also happens: an AI image that was polished by hand or exported as a screenshot can lose its traces and look human. The page says so as well.
How much does a check cost?+
Guests get one free check per day and signed-in users get three; after that a check costs 1 point, and lifetime members get them free.
