AllFreeTool is a free online passport photo maker that crops a portrait to the size required for ID photos and can replace a plain background. Pick one of the built-in specifications, choose a background colour, adjust the position of the face, and export a print-ready PNG. The processing happens in your browser, so your photo is never uploaded.
It suits visa applications, job applications that ask for a photo of a given size, school enrolment forms, and social security paperwork. The built-in list covers the common Chinese and international ID photo sizes, and the background replacement gives a cleaner result than a photograph taken against a wall.

Common questions
How accurate is the background replacement?+
It is a best-effort approach. The tool samples the colour in the corners of the photo and replaces nearby shades with the colour you picked, using a tolerance slider to widen or narrow the range. It works well on a plain, evenly lit background, but hair edges and shadows may keep some of the original colour.
Which photo sizes are supported?+
The list covers the common Chinese ID photo sizes in pixels, such as the one inch and two inch photos, and several specifications given in millimetres for visa and social security use. Millimetre sizes are converted to pixels at three hundred dots per inch, which is the usual print resolution for ID photos.
What resolution will my photo be?+
The exported file has exactly the pixel dimensions required by the specification you selected, so it can be printed at the intended physical size without further resizing. The file is saved as a PNG to keep the edges crisp.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?+
No. The picture is read into the page and cropped on a local canvas, and no network request is made at any point. Your photo stays on your own device, which matters for identity documents.
