Image SplitterNEW

Cut an image into equal tiles, rows, columns or a custom grid

Completely free

Checking your access…

AllFreeTool is a free online image splitter that cuts a picture into separate tiles. Choose to split it into equal rows, equal columns, or cut it at custom percentage positions, and every piece is rendered as its own PNG file. The preview shows the cut lines before you download, so you can check the layout first. The whole thing runs in your browser.

It suits preparing a panorama for a scrolling web page, cutting a long screenshot into readable parts, or dividing a contact sheet of photos into individual frames. Because the pieces are produced at the original resolution, each tile stays sharp enough to print or to use on its own.

Common questions

How do I cut an image at exact positions?+

Switch to the custom mode and type the cut positions as percentages of the image width, separated by commas, for example 30, 65. The preview redraws immediately so you can see where the lines fall and adjust the numbers until the layout looks right.

Are the pieces saved one by one?+

Yes. Each tile is downloaded as its own PNG file named after the source image, with a part number added. The downloads are spaced out slightly so the browser does not block them as a burst of simultaneous files.

Does splitting reduce the quality?+

No. The image is cut without rescaling, so every tile keeps the pixel dimensions it had in the original file. The only thing that changes is the region each tile covers.

Is my image uploaded?+

No. The file is read into the page and the tiles are drawn on a local canvas, with no network request involved. The picture stays on your own machine from upload to download.
