AllFreeTool is a free online text to PDF converter that turns plain text or Markdown into a neatly typeset PDF document. You paste your content, choose the page size, the body font size and the margins, and the tool lays the text out and gives you a finished PDF to download. Everything is generated locally in your browser, so nothing you write is uploaded.

Common questions
What Markdown syntax is supported?＋
The parser recognises the common subset: headings with one to three hash marks, bullet lists, quoted lines, bold text and plain paragraphs. Anything it does not recognise is treated as ordinary text, so the output always comes out readable even if your Markdown is unusual.
Can I control the page setup?＋
Yes. You choose between A4 and Letter, set the body font size, and adjust the margins in millimetres, and the text reflows to match. This is enough to make the result print neatly on standard office paper without any further tidying.
How are long documents paginated?＋
The content is flowed into the page area and carried onto new pages as it fills, and the tool reports the total number of pages in the result. Headings are kept with the text that follows them, which stops a title from being stranded at the bottom of a page.
Is my text uploaded to a server?＋
No. The document is composed and the PDF is written entirely inside your browser, with no network request involved. Nothing you type is transmitted or stored, and the page works offline.
