Roll up to six dice of many sides and keep a history

Completely free

AllFreeTool is a free online dice roller that throws any number of dice with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20 or 100 sides. Each roll is animated, the total is shown, and every throw is kept in a history list together with the formula you rolled. It works entirely in your browser, so nothing is installed and no roll is ever uploaded.

It is handy for tabletop games, for deciding who does what in a group, for picking a random number in a role-playing session, or for any situation where a die is the fairest way to break a tie. The history makes it easy to look back at what was rolled without losing track of the running narrative of a game.

Common questions

What dice sizes can I roll?+

You can choose d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100, and roll any number of dice of that type in one throw. The total shown is the sum of every die, and the history lists each individual result alongside the formula.

Is the roll fair and random?+

Yes, each die is generated with the random number function built into your browser, and the tool is designed for games and casual decisions. Because the generation happens on your own device, no server is involved in the outcome at any point.

What does the copy formula button do?+

It puts the dice expression, such as 3d6, on your clipboard so you can paste it into a character sheet, a game tool or a chat message. This is handy when you want to keep playing with the same dice after switching applications.

Is the roll history saved anywhere?+

No. The history exists only in the current page and is cleared when you reload or close it. Nothing about your rolls is uploaded, and there is no account to create and no limit on how often you can roll.
