Fuel Cost CalculatorNEW
Estimate fuel cost per kilometre, per trip and per year
Checking your access…
AllFreeTool is a free online fuel cost calculator that works out your consumption per hundred kilometres, the cost per kilometre, how far each litre takes you, the cost of a specific trip, and the estimated cost and carbon emissions over a year of driving. Enter the distance travelled, the fuel used and the price per litre, and everything else follows. The calculation happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
It suits anyone comparing two cars, checking whether a road trip is worth it, or simply understanding where the monthly fuel budget goes. Because the annual figures scale from the real figures of your own driving, they are a practical estimate rather than a generic average.

Common questions
How is consumption per hundred kilometres worked out?+
The tool divides the litres you used by the distance you covered and multiplies by one hundred, which is the standard way consumption is quoted. The same figures give the cost per kilometre and the distance covered by each litre, so all the numbers stay consistent with each other.
How accurate is the annual estimate?+
It scales your measured consumption and your current fuel price up to the annual distance you entered, so it reflects how you actually drive rather than an average driver. It will drift if prices rise or your routes change, so treat it as a planning figure and update the inputs when circumstances change.
Does it estimate carbon emissions as well?+
Yes. The annual emissions are derived from the fuel you would burn over that distance using a standard factor for petrol, giving a rough sense of the footprint of your driving. It is an estimate based on consumption only, and does not include manufacturing or other life-cycle effects.
Is my driving data uploaded anywhere?+
No. All the arithmetic runs inside your browser with no network request, so your distance, fuel use and prices are never transmitted or stored. Nothing is saved after you close the tab.
