GPA CalculatorNEW
Average grades on a 4.0, 5.0 or percentage scale, weighted by credits
Checking your access…
AllFreeTool is a free online GPA calculator that works out your credit-weighted average grade point. You add each course with its name, credit count and score, and the tool converts your scores into points on a 4.0 scale, a 5.0 scale or straight from percentages, then reports the weighted GPA, total credits, course count and the average percentage score. Everything is computed in your browser.
It suits students checking their term GPA, applicants estimating what an offer looks like, and anyone who wants to see how a single course shifts their average. Grading rules differ between institutions, particularly around retaken courses, so treat the result as a helpful calculation rather than an official transcript figure.

Common questions
How is the weighted GPA computed?+
Each course is first converted to a point value using your chosen scale, and those points are multiplied by the course credits. The sum of those weighted points is divided by the total credits, so a course with more credits moves the average more than a light one with the same score.
How are percentage scores mapped to grade points?+
The tool uses a common conversion table: on the 4.0 scale a score of 90 and above is 4.0, 85 is 3.7, 82 is 3.3, and 60 is 1.0, with similar steps in between. The 5.0 scale maps 90 to 5.0 and steps down by half a point. Percentages are always entered as a number between 0 and 100.
Can I calculate my GPA across several terms?+
Yes, just keep adding every course you want to include. Because the average is weighted by credits rather than by term, adding all your courses together gives you a cumulative figure. Remember that whether a retaken course counts twice is a rule your own school sets.
Are my grades sent to a server?+
No. The conversion and averaging happen entirely in your browser, so your course names, credits and scores are never transmitted or written anywhere. The list disappears when you close or reload the page.
