StopwatchNEW
Time tasks with laps, split times and a copyable result
Checking your access…
AllFreeTool is a free online stopwatch with start, pause, resume and reset controls plus lap timing for whatever you are measuring. Each lap shows both the split time and the running total, and you can copy the whole lap list to the clipboard when you are done. The tool runs entirely in your browser, so nothing is installed and nothing is uploaded.
It suits timing a run, a recipe step, a loading time, a presentation rehearsal, or a repair job. The lap list keeps the split times in front of you while the action continues, which is exactly what you need when you want the time of one specific segment rather than the whole session.
Why use Stopwatch on AllFreeTool?
Lap Timing
Record a split for each segment and see the split and the running total side by side.
Copy Laps
Copy the complete lap list to your clipboard with one click for a record or a report.
Pause and Resume
Pause the timing without losing the reading, then continue exactly where you stopped.
Runs Locally
All timing happens in the page, so no measurement data ever reaches a server.

Common questions
What is the difference between a split and a total?+
A split is the time of the current segment alone, measured from the previous lap press, while the total is the time since the stopwatch was started. Showing both lets you see how a particular leg compared with the session as a whole, which is the usual way people analyse a race or a series of tasks.
Can I pause and carry on?+
Yes. Pause freezes the display at the current reading and resume continues from exactly that value, so pausing during a brief interruption does not lose the timing. Reset returns the display to zero and clears the lap list at the same time.
How do I keep a record of my times?+
The copy laps button puts the whole lap list on your clipboard, including the split and the total for each press, so you can paste it into a notes app, a spreadsheet, or a chat message. There is no account and no stored history, which is why copying is the way to keep a record.
Is the timing accurate for long sessions?+
The elapsed time is computed from the browser clock rather than by accumulating ticks, so it stays accurate over long runs and is unaffected by a busy main thread. Everything happens locally in your page, so the stopwatch also works with no network connection.
