AllFreeTool is a free online Pomodoro timer that runs the classic focus and break cycle for you. A focus session is followed by a short break, and every fourth round by a long break, and the tool rotates through them automatically, counting the sessions you complete and showing the remaining time in the browser tab title. It runs locally in your browser with nothing to install.

It suits study sessions, writing blocks, deep work, and any repetitive task where a fixed rhythm helps. You can set your own focus length and break length, skip the current round when you need to, and check the daily tally of completed Pomodoros to see how much focused time you actually got through.

Common questions

How does the Pomodoro cycle work?+

The timer starts with a focus round, then a short break, and every fourth round it gives you a long break instead before returning to focus. The phase indicator always shows what comes next, and the completed counter increments each time a focus session is finished.

Can I change the default 25 and 5 minutes?+

Yes. The focus length and break length are both adjustable, so you can work in longer blocks if your task demands it, or take shorter breaks if 25 minutes is too long for you. The settings apply to the next session you start.

What if I need to stop early?+

You can skip the current round, which moves you straight on to the next phase, or reset the whole cycle back to the beginning. Neither option records the interrupted round as a completed Pomodoro, which keeps your daily count honest.

Will I know the timer is running while I work elsewhere?+

The remaining time is shown in the browser tab title, so even when the tab is in the background you can see how much is left. Everything runs in the page itself, with no server call, so it keeps working without a network connection.
